What a Drag! explores the place of drag queens in Key West’s community, where they are seen as both celebrities and curiosities. It also highlights the role they play in community events.
Exhibition topics will include the queens’ preparations for their daily performances, cabaret theaters, the famous people that appear in their routines and how the audience perceives the role of drag queens in Key West.
