Your volunteer talents are requested.
You are invited to get your ‘boo-gee’ on at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden on Saturday, October 29th from 9AM – 3 PM by helping on the annual “Screaming Green Halloween” event, the Safe Trick or Treat for the community.
- Set up starts on Friday, October 28th 3 – 6 PM. Looking for 6 able bodies to help move tables, chairs, etc. Everyone available is welcome. All able hands on deck for pre-set up.
- Pre-event set up on Saturday, October 29th at 8:00 AM. Need 6 able bodies to help with last minute set up
Saturday Volunteers Assignment needed for Tasks:
8 – Set up – check in 7:45 AM
2 Parking attendants – check in at 9AM
3 volunteer check in – 8:30-1:30
3 Admissions – 9:30-1:30
15 – Activity Stations - 9:00 - 1:30PM
15 – Trick or Treat - 9:00 - 1:30PM
2 – Runners (help out with everything, must move fast) 9:30 – 2PM
2 – Candy Monitor - 9:30 AM until candy runs out
3 – Costume Contest Registration 10 – 1:30
2 – Raffle
5 – Cleanup/Break down – 1:30 - 4 PM
2 – Face painters
2 – Bounce House attendants 9:30 – 2 PM

Costumes are optional, fun is required; most importantly bring your smile. If you are able, we ask that each volunteer bring a bag of candy to help with the event.
